朱乐耕，1952年生于景德镇，1988年毕业于景德镇陶瓷学院美术系，获硕士学位并留校任教。曾任景德镇陶瓷学院教授、陶瓷艺术设计学科学术带头人、江西省学位评审委员会委员，并获国务院有突出贡献的专家称号。2003年调入中国艺术院研究院工作，现担任中国艺术院研究院艺术创作中心主任兼陶艺研究中心主任，博士生导师。

　　作品多次参加国内外陶艺展，先后共有四十多件作品获奖。1995年、2000年两次在新加坡举办个人陶艺展，新加坡报纸“新民晚报”、“新民日报”做了专题报道；1997年在中国美术馆举办个人陶艺展及“朱乐耕陶艺研讨会”，“人民日报”（海外版）、“光明日报”、“中国文化报”、“中国艺术报”、“中华英才”、“今日中国”、“中央电视台”、“北京电视台”“装饰”杂志、“美术”杂志等媒体对展览会和作者及作品都作了长篇的专题报道。1998年、1999年、2000年三年连续在香港举办个人陶艺展，香港“新报”、“大公报”做了专题报道；2002年在韩国首尔麦粒美术馆举办个人陶艺展，2003年其为韩国首尔麦粒美术馆和麦粒音乐厅所创作的系列大型环境陶艺--“时间与空间的畅想”、“生命之光”、“岁月的记忆”、“欢乐时光”、“黑与白的对话”、“山峦、月色、苍穹”等作品落成，同时举行落成典礼招待会。两次活动均引起韩国各媒体的密切关注，韩国的“朝鲜日报”、“中央日报”、“国民日报”、“京乡新闻”、“陶艺”杂志、“建筑”杂志、“理想建筑”杂志、“人与环境”杂志、“工艺”杂志、“音乐”杂志、KBS电视台、江南电视台等韩国的各大媒体都对其做了专题的报道，中央电视台美术星空专程到韩国首尔做了追踪拍摄。

　　朱乐耕的“夏日的风”、“蓝色的晚宴”、“荒原”、“冬日之黑夜”、“冬日之白昼”、“夕烟、炊烟、人家”、“空间的思考”、“洪荒时代”、“宇宙之初”、“天地之始”、“生命之孕育”、“佛性”等系列陶艺作品被韩国麦粒美术馆和亚洲美术馆收藏，还有“风筝”、“京剧人物”、“唐人诗意”等系列作品被日本“中国美术馆”收藏。另外作品“梅”被国务院紫光阁收藏。作品“乡土”参加由文化部主办的“中国当代陶艺”欧洲巡回展，作品被文化部收藏。作品“牧歌”被历史博物馆作为“世纪收藏作品”收藏。2004年主持和策划了首届东亚国际陶艺展，并主编了《东亚国际交流邀请展作集》。2006年由中国艺术研究院在中国美术馆举办了“朱乐耕现代陶艺展”，“混沌之初”、“远古的回忆”、“金秋”、“天那边的红云”等十件作品被美术馆收藏。完成在韩国首尔圣心医院制作的系列陶瓷艺术壁画作品。2006年担任中国美术馆陶瓷艺术邀请展艺术委员会委员。被九江市邀请完成和中广场大型陶瓷艺术壁画及雕塑，并被聘为九江市城市建筑艺术顾问。2007年由中国艺术研究院在上海美术馆举办了“环境与空间的思考--朱乐耕陶瓷艺术展”。“风”、“乐土”等系列作品被上海证大美术馆收藏。

　　Brief Introduction of Zhu Legeng

　　Mr. Zhu legeng, born in Jingdezhen City in 1952, graduated from Art Department of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, obtaining the master's degree and teaching at the Institute. He was the professor of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, an academic leader in Ceramic Art Design Discipline, and also a committee member of the Evaluation Committee of Academic Degree of Jiangxi province. The State Council claimed him an Expert who had made many Outstanding Contributions. Since 2003, he has been a doctoral supervisor. And the director of the Ceramic Art Center of Chinese Academy of arts.

　　His works have been exhibited in numerous domestic and international ceramic art exhibitions with much success. More than 40 works have gained prizes.

　　In 1995 and 2000, his personal ceramic art exhibitions were held in Singapore twice. Singaporean newspapers, "Xinmin Evening News" and "Xinmin Daily", ran the special reports on both exhibitions. In 1997, his personal ceramic art exhibition and the "Zhu legeng Ceramic Art Seminar" were held in China National Art Museum numerous media, such as "The People's Daily"(overseas edition), "Guangming Daily", "China Culture Newspaper", "Chinese Art Newspaper", "Elites in China", "China Today", CCTV, Beijing TV, the "Ornament" magazine, the "Fine Art" magazine, etc. all had long special reports on the exhibition, the author and his works, This created extensive response in the Capital.

　　In 1998, 1999 and 2000, three personal ceramic art exhibitions of Mr. Zhu legeng were held in Hong Kong with the "News Daily", "Ta Kung Daily" of Hong Kong printing special reports.

　　In 2002, he held a personal ceramic art exhibition in the Wheat Art Gallery in Seoul, Korea. In 2003, he made several serial large-scale environmental ceramic art pieces made for the Korean Wheat Art Gallery and Korean Wheat Music Hall, titled "Illusion of Time and Space", "Light of Life", "Memory of Years", "Happy Time", "Dialogue: Black and White", "Mountains , Moonlight, Firmament" were completed. Meanwhile, an inauguration reception was held. Theses two activities drew the close attention of many Korean Media outlets. "Chosunilbo Daily", "Central Daily", "National Daily", "Jingxiang News", the "Ceramic Art" magazine, the "Architects" magazine, the "Ideal Buildings" magazine, the " Man and Environment" magazine, the "Craft" magazine, and the "Music" magazine, KBSTV, JiangnanTV and also coverage special reports on that. The CCTV provided a special report in Seoul, creating extensive response in art architect and music circle within Korea.

　　His pottery art works--"Summer Wind", "the Blue Dinner Party", " Wasteland", "Winter Night", "Daytime in Winter", "Evening Mist, Cooking Smoke and the House", "Thinking of the Space", " the Virgin Era", "the Beginning in Universe", "Start of the World", "to be Pregnant with Life", "the Nature of Buddha"--have been collected by the Korean Wheat Art Museum and the Asia Art Museum. His works--"Kite", "Beijing Opera Personage", " Poem Sense in Tang Dynasty " have been collected by the Japanese China National Art Museum; with "Plum" being  acquired by the State Council. "Native Land" was exhibited in European traveling show of the "Chinese Contemporary Ceramic Art Exhibition" sponsored by Ministry of Culture; this works was acquired by Ministry of Culture. With "The Pastoral Song" has been collected by China History Museum as part of the Century Collection.

　　In 2006, Zhu Legeng Modern Ceramic Art Exhibition sponsored by Chinese Academy of Arts was held in National Art Museum of China in December, and ten works including "The Beginning of Chaos", "Ancient Memories", "Golden Autumn" and "Red Clouds over Yonder" were collected by the museum. 2006 Appointed Member of the Art Committee of National Art Museum of China for Invited Ceramic Art Exhibitions. Created a large ceramic mural and a sculpture for Hezhong Square in Jiujiang, and was employed by the city as Art Advisor for civic architecture. In 2007, his personal ceramic art exhibition and the "Thinking for Environment & Space-Zhulegeng Ceramic Art Exhibition" were held in China National Art Museum. "Wind", "Letu"--have been collected by Shanghai Zhengda Art Museum.
